In the beginning of 2022, we started brewing our own beer. Mývatn öl.
The brewing goes on in Kaffi Sel, our souvenir and café, across the street from the lobby.
Mývatn Öl is availible on draft at our bar.
For now we have two types and only sell them on draft at our facilities.
Our types are: Skútinn IPA. Vindbelgur IPA brewed with geysir bread.
We use grains that we grind ourselves.
The brew needs to ferment for 7 days and then it is cooled for another 7 days before it is ready to enjoy!
