Jeep Safari – Hverfjall –Lúdent JEEP-2
After a nice breakfast at the hotel you meet the staff and the jeep that takes you on an unforgettable tour further into the Mývatn area. You cross Dimmuborgir “the Dark lava” and Hverfjall or Hverfell (the name depends on whom you may ask) a big explosion crater nearby Dimmuborgir.
The tour heads to the craters of Lúdent.
Lúdents were formed some thousand years ago, a great row of craters some kilometre long. This special OFFROAD tour takes you to some of the most beautiful “hidden” places of Lake Mývatn.
After a good rest at Lúdent we drive on the backside of Hverfjall down to Hveraönd where you can find the smell of the magnificent boiling sulphur pots.
